Dropped Moon 12, and The Storytelling Blows My Mind! 😭🌊
By Amber
From Fun 8 to Moon 12: Fast-Paced Drops
My wallet didn't even get a chance to breathe! Fun 8 just came out, and now Moon 12 is already here. I've always loved the Moon series for its adorable art, but honestly? Most sets lacked a strong overarching theme. Only a select few actually had a solid story connecting the cards.
That said, some earlier Moon sets were absolute masterpieces of storytelling:
Moon 3: The LSR set featured the traditional Chinese Solar Terms—an absolute holy grail with incredible collection value.

Moon 9: The UR cards leaned heavily into a Spooky Halloween theme, which made those URs way more attractive to me than the higher tiers!

Moon 10: The SC cards brought us a warm, cozy Christmas vibe that just melted my heart.

The Narrative Peak: Moon 11 & Moon 12
Starting from Moon 11, Kayou really upped their storytelling game! Moon 11 revolved around flower-viewing seasons and otherworldly starry skies, with the top two tiers depicting a fascinating "Dual Life" wrapped in suffocating, gorgeous vines.

And then came Moon 12...
Moon 12’s overarching theme is crystal clear: A Midsummer Night’s Dream. What completely blew me away is how every single card tier connects like chapters in a movie:
SC Tier: The ponies gather in a misty lotus pond hidden deep inside a summer forest for a secret rendezvous.

ZR Tier: The ponies transform into adorable Breezies, playing and floating among the lotus flowers drenched in morning dew.

SGR Tier: It transitions to a cozy rainy afternoon where the ponies step into the puddles, playing together in the rain.

◇ZR Tier (The Ultimate Plot Twist): Suddenly, you realize... all of this was just Princess Twilight Sparkle’s memory. She gazes into the water reflection, looking at her friends. It turns out everything was just her dream—like a phantom reflection in the water, fragile, surreal, but painfully beautiful.

(Seriously, Moon 12, are you trying to make me cry my eyes out?! 😭😭😭)
Official Kayou Events & How International Time Zones SUCK!
Along with this breathtaking art, Kayou launched two major promotional events. But here’s the brutal truth for overseas collectors: Time zones are going to ruin your day if you aren't careful!
Event 1: The LSR to PR Master Trade-In
The Rule: Collect a full set of 16 specific LSR cards, send them back to Kayou (they will keep the LSRs), and they will mail you 1 rare PR card!

The Catch & The Deadline: The deadline is August 12, 2026 based on local China Standard Time (CST)!
Why This is Stressful: Because of international shipping delays, by the time your sealed master case arrives at your doorstep in America, the deadline might ALREADY HAVE PASSED!
💡 Amber’s Solution: LIVE Pack Breaking on Channel!
To bypass the time zone trap, I’m bringing back our Live Stream Box Breaks! You can buy your boxes through the Cove, and we will open them live for you on channel. You’ll know instantly if you landed the full LSR set!
⚠️ CRITICAL TIME ZONE NOTICE
To ensure we have enough buffer time to compile your cards and mail them back to China before the August 12 CST deadline, our Live Pack Break sessions will officially CLOSE on August 6th at Eastern Time (EDT)!
(P.S. Word on the street is that only TWO people have successfully pulled the full set so far! It’s ridiculously hard and purely luck-based. I bold prediction time: this PR card is going to COMMAND INSANE PRICES on the secondary market! 📈🔥)
Event 2: The Binder Redemption Card
The Rule: Pull a special "Binder Redemption Card" from a pack to claim an exclusive official binder!

The Odds: The pull rate is a mind-boggling 1 in 3,240 packs (that’s 1 in 180 boxes!). Pure luck flex right here.
The Good News: The deadline for this event is much longer—it runs all the way until October 31, 2027. You’ve got plenty of time!
